Secret Sauna is owned by Keziah Jade Ley, she is solely responsible for fuelling the sauna. Outlined below are clear guidelines of the health and safety factors to adhere to while using the sauna, please read carefully.

Use of the sauna is at your own risk; you are responsible for your own health and wellbeing throughout the sauna session.

If any of the below apply to you (please note, this is not an exhaustive list) we advise you to seek your GP’s advice before booking:

• If you’re pregnant

• If you’ve had a heart attack or stroke

• If you’re taking any medications

• If you have any cardiovascular conditions 

• If you have epilepsy

• If you have diabetes

• If you have asthma or any conditions which affect your breathing

• If you have high or low blood pressure

• If you have joint or muscle injury

The sauna is wood fired and reaches high temperatures. Do not touch the stove, stove door, flue, chimney, sauna rocks or surrounding fire guards.

At your own risk, when pouring water on the rocks, start from the point furthest away from you to prevent scalding.

​

Alcohol, drugs and smoking is not permitted in or around the sauna. We reserve the right to refuse admission to intoxicated people.

​

Sauna use is strictly for those aged 18 and over.

​

Any jewellery should be removed before entering to prevent burning.

​

If you are making a booking on behalf of the group it’s your responsibility to make all users aware of these terms and conditions and to practice safe sauna use, as well as making others aware of what to bring and other useful information.

We reserve the right to refuse admission for any reason that may be deemed a health and safety risk. Refunds will not be offered to those refused admission.

Please leave the sauna if you feel dizzy, lightheaded or feel unwell because of the heat. Everybody is different, please listen to your own body and don’t compare your time in the sauna to others. The effects of heat exhaustion are serious.

Strictly no mobile devices/cameras in the sauna, you will be asked to leave immediately.

Cancellation Policy - all bookings are non-refundable; however, you have the option to reschedule your time slot within the 48 hour cancellation period.

In the unlikely event that Secret Sauna needs to cancel a session, we will always try to give as much notice as possible. However, due to where the sauna is located and extreme weather changes, we may have to cancel at short notice for your safety.
